CARRBOROCarrboro Town Commons 9:30am – 3:00pm
Music, face painting, balloon sculpture artists, roaming magicians, scrap exchange, games, food and more. Parade on Weaver Street in downtown Carrboro with events at the Town Commons.

CARY –  July 4 - Koka Booth Ampitheatre – 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Music and fireworks.  Koka Kids Club fun: Scavenger Hunt, Happy Dan the Magic Man, Face Painters and more from 3 to 7 PM.  The Ferris Wheel overlooking Symphony Lake ($5 for two riders, $3 for single riders)

CARY- Independence Day Olde Time Celebration at Bond Park starts at 7:30am -NO FIREWORKS
Fishing tournament, Parade in the Park, family contests, sidewalk decorating, and Revolutionary War Camp

CHAPEL HILLJuly 4- Fireworks at Kenan Stadium. 7pm- gates
Live Music, Fireworks and Family Fun! Gates open at 7pm with family fun activities planned throughout the evening.

Durham Bulls are playing a home game on July 4th and 5th. The baseball games start at 6:05pm. Lots of fun and festivities at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and American Tobacco Complex within walking distance. Baseball park opens at 7th inning to general public for fireworks on July 4

WAKE FOREST- July 4 Childrens Parade starts at 10:30am, lineup at 10am
Kids jump on a bike or wagon for a walking parade. Helmets required for cyclists. The parade begins at N. Main Street and W. Juniper Avenue and ends at Holding Park, where games and activities await families at 11am
